Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electrostatic charge image developer containing a carrier and a toner with which decrease in the image density or thinning are not caused even a color manuscript of a large area is continuously copied.
CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic charge image developer contains the following toner and carrier. The specific surface area SA of the toner directly calculated from the weight average particle size of the toner and the specific surface area SB calculated from the number average distribution satisfy 1.0≤SB≤1.8 (m2/g) and 1.20≤SB/SA≤1.70. The carrier has 5 to 100μm particle size and ≤3.0g/cm3 bulk density and satisfies the formula. In the formula, σ1000 and σ300 are intensities of magnetization at 1000 and 300 oersted after the carrier is magneticaclly saturated, respect i vel y.
