To provide an electrostatic image developing toner which hardly causes an offset phenomenon in a broad temperature range and hardly causes a winding phenomenon, that is, has excellent fixing characteristic and fusion resistance when a toner image formed by development is fixed on a transfer medium by means of a heating roller fixing machine, and to provide a production method of the electrostatic image developing toner having excellent molding property when the toner is produced.
In the electrostatic image developing toner composed of at least a binder resin and a colorant, the binder resin contains polyester resin (A) and a thermoplastic elastomer (B) and a melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer measured by a differential scanning calorimeter is 140 to 230°C. Further, in the production method of the electrostatic image developing toner, the thermal molten compounding is performed at a temperature ≥ the temperature 30° lower than the melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer (B).
