PURPOSE: To provide the above electrostatic recording head enhanced in the reliability in the connection part of the terminal of an electrode substrate and a cable and capable of easily connecting both of them.

CONSTITUTION: The arrangement shape of the terminals 18a, 18b of electrode substrates 10a, 10b is formed in matching relation to that of the pins 32a of a flat cable connector 30. The thickness d3 of the electrode substrates 11a, 10b containing common substrates 16a, 16b can be allowed to almost coincide with the interval between the pin rows of the connector 30. The connector 30 is mounted on the electrode substrates 10a, 10b by a method wherein the electrode substrates 10a, 10b are held between two rows of the pins 32a of the connector 30 at first to align the positions of the terminals 18a, 18b for cable wiring with those of the pins 32a and the connector 30 is bonded and fixed by soldering the terminals 18a, 18b and the pins 32a to be mounted on the electrode substrates 10a, 10b.
