Title:
ELECTROSTATICALLY CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000113729
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To remarkably reduce the tolerance of conductivity without essentially changing a chemical or physical characteristic of an electrostatically conductive material.

The invention provides the electrostatically conductive material 9 having shapes of a plate, a roller 5, a hollow cylinder, and a belt such as for a conveyer belt, etc., and made of a material mainly including a molding resin such as rubber formed by mixing polyurethane(PU) and carbon black evenly, and its manufacturing method. The electrostatically conductive material 9 is manufactured by impressing an electric field by DC voltage in the desired and spatially preferred direction, when curing or hardening in which the PU is evenly mixed with the carbon black and shaped into a desired shape under a dimensionally unstable raw state, eventually to the dimensionally stable state of the final shape.
