PURPOSE: To quickly rescue passengers in a car, by actuating an engaging means to turn a luminaire by self weight, to directly open a rescue port in large.

CONSTITUTION: This car is equipped with a rescue port 10 provided on a ceiling 6, a luminaire 11 being in the lower part of the port 10 and arranged in a position for shielding the port 10, a hinge 16 for turnably fitting one end of the luminaire 11 to the ceiling 6, and an engaging means 23 for mounting another end of the luminaire 11 on a side wall panel 9, to hold the luminaire 11 in nearly a horizontal condition. When the means 23 is actuated to release another end of the luminaire 11 from the engaging condition with the panel 9, the luminaire 11 is turned by self weight to make the port 10 be unshielded.
