Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator circular door device which saves the occupying space in the car, permits an easy disposition of other elevator equipment in the upper part of the car, and ensures a scaffold space in the car for maintenance work.
SOLUTION: A horizontal sliding door 5 which is moved along a circular arc for opening or closing the doorway is provided in a car 2 and is pressed by first rotors 26 and second rotors 29 therebetween. A driver 16 drives at least one of the first rotors 26 and the second rotors 29 through a transmission mechanism 31 to open or close the horizontal sliding door 5 by the resultant frictional force. As a result of which a door link and the like are dispensed with at the center part in the car 2 to reduce the occupied space in the car 2. Other elevator equipment are thus easily disposed in the ceiling of the car 2 and the maintenance work is facilitated in the car 2.
