Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator in which it is easy to fit a coming-off prevention member that regulates the coming-off of a rope from a sheave, and a sheave cover fitting method.SOLUTION: An elevator includes an elevator car, a counter weight, a rope for lifting the elevator car and the counter weight, a sheave around which a rope is wrapped, a motor for rotating the sheave, a sheave cover for covering the sheave, and a coming-off prevention member including a bar with screw cuttings at both ends, and first terminal member and second terminal member fixed to the bar with external size of the length equal to the thickness of the sheave cover which regulates the coming-off of the rope from the sheave and fixes the sheave cover to the motor.
