Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus to meter and distribute an volatile liquid in a gaseous state by providing the apparatus with a porous support functionable to close a pore without passing liquid and with passing a gas and make of a specified cross-linked organopolysiloxanes. CONSTITUTION: Organopolysiloxanes are manufactured by curing a prepolymer at a temperature under maximum 150 deg.C for some seconds. The prepolymer or an oligomer has a middle molecular weight and a viscosity under 1,000,000mm<2> /S at 25 deg.C, preferably of a range of 100-1,000,000mm<2> /S. The organopolysiloxanes are a solution or anaqueous emulsion and form a film by applying onto a porous support. The porous support 3 is wetted with a volatile liquid 6 by upending a vessel 1, if desired, successive emanation can be conducted. When the volatile liquid absorbed by the porous support 3 is empty temporarily, the emanation stops or reduces extremely. Therefore, this device can be used for a constant emanation device or a successive emanation device.
