PURPOSE: To improve anti-skid functional ability to be utilized throughout the whole year at the time of emergency by uniformly scattering natural sands in front of the driving wheel tire of a running automobile in the width of the tire and thickness being in proportion to running speed for minimizing influence to environment.
CONSTITUTION: Scattered sand 1 is put in a scattered sand tank 2 from an inlet 3, and a residual quantity detecting float 4 floating on the scattered sand is provided in the tank. An electromagnetic reversing roll 6 on the lower part of the tank 2 is made of stainless steel, and an electromagnetic device 14 is provided on a roll shaft 7 on one side, and in a roll body, the middle part of peripheral width is deep, and the end of a digged-in shape 10 is sector shaped, and a gap between the above end and a shoot sealing rubber plate 8 forms a shoot 5 during actuation, and when a power source is turned off, the sealing rubber plate 8 sticks fast to a roll straight face to close the shoot 5. A button uses an automobile battery as the power source, and is connected to the electromagnetic device 14 of the roll of a sand scattering device through an electric wire in each wheel, and when the button is pushed, the scattered sand is scattered somewhat wider than the width of the tire at a flow rate of the shoot 5 set up according to the running speed through a piping 12. Thus a sand scattering device functions surely and strongly through a freezing and a nonfreezing season.
