To provide an emergency lighting device of a switch cover capable of lighting a room at emergency power breakdown caused by general power breakdown, fire, earthquake or the like, by installing an illumination lamp inside a switch cover protecting a room light switch button turning on and off the room light at all time.

The illumination lamp 12 is installed at least on one or more surfaces in the switch cover 10 on the upper part of a front surface of which at least one or more of room light switch buttons 11 turning no and off the room light installed on a ceiling are arranged, and a transparent window 13 through which the light of the illumination lamp 12 transmits is formed on the surface where the illumination lamp is installed. An illumination lamp switch button 14 switching on and off the illumination lamp is installed at the lower part of the switch cover 14, and a circuit board 15 on which a control circuit including a charged dry battery 16 is installed inside the switch cover 10.
