Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain the connection to an emergency line in a remote location terminal station of a subscriber carrier equipment on the occurrence of a fault of a carrier line by using a transmission time division switch so as to connect a hooked-off subscriber signal to an emergency line and replacing it with an output of a substantial reception time division switch.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 5 connects a subscriber A hooked off to relieve an emergency line when a carrier line is faulty due to time slot replacement and the transmission reception of a subscriber signal is disabled to an exchange side. After the emergency line is called conversely, in order to connect the emergency line to the subscriber A for the talking, a transmission control address 51 is outputted to a transmission time division switch 6. A selection circuit 8 outputs an output 71 of a reception time division switch 7 to a subscriber side 81 in the normal state and an output 61 of the switch 6 is outputted to the subscriber side 81 on the occurrence of a fault. Thus, the connection to the emergency line is implemented in the remote location terminal station of the subscriber carrier equipment.
