Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decode an individual selecting signal, by measuring the frequency of the individual selecting signal by a digital circuit in an individual selecting signal decoder for each shared exchange terminal.
CONSTITUTION: The individual selecting signal decoder has a waveform shaping part 1 for shaping the waveform of an individual selecting signal to be a sine wave signal sent from a shared exchange and having frequency corresponding to an individual number allocated to one of plural terminals to a square wave signal, period display signal forming parts 2 to 4 for forming a period display signal indicating N times (provided that N is a positive integer) the period of the square wave signal and an individual number computing part 5 for computing an individual number corresponding to N times of the above period in response to the above period display signal.
