The emission type clothing has a light guide 11 set on a clothing main body 13, having an inside capable of transmitting light, and enabling emission from part of the clothing main body by emitting light to the outside from given emission parts 12A, 12B, 14A, 14B and 16, a light supply means 50 for supplying light to the inside of the light guide and control means (a control means 18 and a control device 20) for controlling quantity of light emitted from the given emission parts of the light guide and obtaining desired quantity of light from desired parts of the clothing main body.
