Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder which can simplify mounting on a motor or mounting work by eliminating necessity of a socket-and-spigot structure.SOLUTION: An encoder includes: a disk part which has a fixing hole for being fixed to a rotary code plate having a predetermined pattern formed thereon and a rotating shaft of a measuring object and which can be fixed to the rotating shaft; a substrate part including a detection part which detects the predetermined pattern; a body part which holds the substrate part and houses the disk part therein by being fitted to a part of the disk part; and a holding member which integrally holds the disk part for the substrate part in a state where the rotary code plate and the detection part are coaxial with the fixing hole.
