Abstract:

To provide an end working method for forming a coated section of high reliability on a laminate end face without increasing the thickness of an end of a sheet-shaped laminate structural body.

A guide component 30 is disposed on a supporting face 21 of a supporting component 20 in a manner that a fixed face 33 is supported by the supporting face 21, and a sheet-shaped laminate structural body 10 is disposed in a manner that its one surface 14b is supported by the supporting face 21. In that case, a laminate end face 13 of the sheet-shaped laminate structural body 10 is disposed to face a guide face 31 of the guide component 30 across a space 50. While a main surface 14a of the sheet-shaped structural body 10 is pressurized by a press face 41 of an oscillator 40, a material constituting a cushion component 12a of the main surface 14a portion is heat melted by high frequency voltage oscillated from the oscillator 40. The molten material is flowed along the laminate end face 13 and flowed into the space 50 to form a coated section coating the whole of the laminate end face 13.
