Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an endless toothed belt which improves strength by adopting both the merits of the connected parts of a finger-shaped cut and a V-shaped cut.
CONSTITUTION: Lug pieces 15, 16 of a group of V-shaped cuts which are formed by joining oblique edge lines 15a, 16a in an angle form in a cross direction are provided respectively at the edge parts. On both the sides of the lug pieces of a group of V-shaped cuts, lug pieces 17, 18 of rectangular cuts are provided by side edge lines 15b, 16b which joins the oblique edge lines and extend to both sides in the cross direction of a body. Moreover, the lug pieces of a group of V-shaped cuts and a group of rectangular-shaped cuts at one edge part and the other end part are combined alternately for a deposited or jointed structure. The edge connected part in the main body of a belt is formed, as a main, into a V-shaped cut with excellent connecting strength to bear the tension of rotating frictional force by an idler pulley to only the rectangular lugs at both the edges of the main body of the belt.
