Title:
ENDOSCOPE STAPLER AND HERNIA RESTORATION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3199831
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable staples to be rapidly loaded and released and appropriately applied to tissue by causing a stapler former to be spring-pressed against a staple holder.
CONSTITUTION: A holder 24 is spring-pressed against a former 26, and the former 26 and the holder 24 are slidable with respect to a stationary anvil 28. The stationary anvil 28 has at its end an anvil part 30 in which a staple 20 is formed, and the holder 24 has a rack 32 on which the crown 34 of the staple 20 is seated. The holder 24 maintains the staple crown 34 relative to the anvil part 30, and by squeezing the trigger of a restoration mechanism a former leg 36 makes contact with the staple 20 at the end of the crown 34, forming the staple 20 completely around the anvil part 30. The camming part 38 of the former 26 placed beneath the holder 24 is close to the camming part 40 of the holder 24. Thus, a restoration device prepares staples 20 in sequence for release after formation.
