To provide an endoscopic sheath capable of wiping an outer surface by a wiper member inexpensively with a simple constitution, and eliminating the range of the outer surface left without being wiped, thereby always securing an excellent observation visual field and a light quantity for obtaining the excellent observation visual field.
The endoscopic sheath 1 comprises: a cover glass sheath 3 having a sheath insertion part 3A provided with cover glass 3b on a distal end 3a and turnable relatively to a rigid scope 2 in the state that the rigid scope 2 is inserted, a turning operation part 3C provided on the proximal end side of the sheath insertion part 3A and a driving power transmission mechanism 30 for connecting the turning operation part 3C and the sheath insertion part 3A and transmitting driving power generated by the turning operation part 3C to the sheath insertion part 3A; a wiper sheath 4 for inserting the sheath insertion part 3A of the cover glass sheath 3; and the wiper member 9 fixed to the distal end 4a of the wiper sheath 4 and disposed so as to be in press contact with the outer surface of the cover glass 3b in the state that the sheath insertion part 3A is inserted.
