Abstract:
To provide a wood type golf club satisfying both the increased carry of a hit ball and the improved effectiveness of a head.
The wood type golf club is equipped with a shaft, a grip mounted on one end of the shaft and the head mounted on the other end of the shaft, wherein the mass m (g) of the golf club and a distance L (cm) from the end on the grip side of the golf club to the centroid position of the golf club satisfy m×L≤2.60×104 (g cm) and m×L2≥2.270×106 (g cm2), and the centroid position of the shaft is in the range of the length of 48.5% of the entire length of the shaft from the end on the head side of the shaft.
