Abstract:

To provide an endotoxin adsorbent that has high selectivity and adsorptivity.SOLUTION: The endotoxin adsorbent according to the embodiment comprise a cellulose carrier and cyclodextrin bound to the cellulose carrier via an amide bond. The endotoxin adsorbent is obtained by bonding cyclodextrin having a carboxy group to a cellulose carrier having an amino group via an amide bond composed of the amino group and the carboxy group, and masking the remaining amino group with a masking agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
