Abstract:
To surely perform restarting even if a vehicle top time is prolonged when a capacitor is used in an energy storage device mounted in a hybrid vehicle.
The energy storage system control device 9 for the hybrid vehicle is constituted of a first power supply 6 and a second power supply 8 superior than to first power supply 6 in a self-discharge characteristic during the stop of the vehicle. The control device also comprises a stop requirement detection means 14 that detects the stop requirement of the vehicle, and shifts energy accumulated in the first power supply 6 to the second power supply 8 when the stop requirement detection means detects the stop requirement of the vehicle.
