Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement device capable of determining abnormality of a waiting mechanism.SOLUTION: An ECU 30 of an engagement device 10 is configured such that in engagement operation, a current value is subjected to feedback control so as to become engagement indicator current required for moving a sleeve 12 to an axial position where a dog tooth 14 is engaged with a dog tooth 13. Release operation is performed based on time transition of a current value during engagement operation (steps S02, S03, S05).
