Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the engaging structure of a division type cover to reduce unevenness in the fastening margin of a seal member and facilitate assembly.
CONSTITUTION: In engaging structure wherein a seal member is located between the engaging end parts of the division cover part pieces of a division type cover in which a cover mounted on an engine end part and covering an internal part is divided, a protrusion wall 61h extending from the back side to the surface side is formed on the engaging end part of one cover part piece 61 and the engaging end part of the other cover part piece 62 is formed in such a manner that a protrusion wall 62f on the outer peripheral side extending toward the back side and a protrusion wall 62g on the inner peripheral side are arranged with a given distance therebetween. The protrusion wall 61h of one cover part piece 61 is fitted in from the surface side in such a manner to nip the protrusion wall between the protrusion wall 62f on the outer peripheral side and the protrusion wall 62g on the inner peripheral side of the other cover part piece 62 and the two cover part pieces 61 and 62 are engaged with each other. A seal member 63 is located, in a state to point to a peripheral direction, between the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion wall 61h of one cover part piece 61 and the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion wall 62g on the inner peripheral side of the other cover part piece.
