Title:
ENGINE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006132405
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make gasoline operation efficient under a condition of low hydrogen residual pressure.

This invention relates to a control device for controlling an engine capable of changing over hydrogen gas and gasoline and burning the same. The device determined whether hydrogen residual pressure is predetermined value or less, and both of gasoline and hydrogen are supplied to a combustion chamber to make gasoline air fuel ratio leaner than λ=1 under a predetermined condition when the device determined that hydrogen residual pressure gets the predetermined value or less. Gasoline can be made lean while keeping combustion stability and a range can be extended since lean limit is improved due to improvement of nature of ignition by hydrogen supply. And EM can be improved.
