To provide AC voltages of two systems having different frequencies by controlling a field current flowing in a field winding, and performing automatic control so that each voltage to be outputted in a two-pole-wound winding for a commercial frequency and a six-pole-wound high-frequency winding respectively may be constant, and making it possible to switch each output.
Voltages generated in a two-pole-wound generating winding 12 and a six-pole-wound generating winding 13 are outputted to outlets 21 and 22 through a change-over switch (K) 17. When K17 is connected to the side of A, a single-phase AC voltage of a commercial frequency 60Hz and a voltage 230V for example is obtained at the outlet 21. At this time, a detected voltage of the two-phase-wound generating winding 12 is inputted to an automatic voltage regulating circuit (J) 18 through K 17. J 18 controls a current flowing in a field winding 16 on the basis of a voltage generated in an exciter winding 14. On the other hand, when K 17 is switched over to the side of B, it is possible to obtain a single-phase AC voltage of a high frequency 180Hz being three times the commercial frequency 60Hz and a voltage 230V at the outlet 22.
