In this engine start control, it is determined that the engine is started at t3 when the number of revolutions of the engine (the number of revolutions on the engine side of the engine clutch 9) Ne becomes set number of revolutions Ns higher than the number of revolutions on a transmission side Nr of the engine clutch.
