Abstract:

To accurately determine start of an engine even under a slip condition of an engine clutch when tightening the engine clutch during electric running to start the engine.

When a switching demand from electric running mode to hybrid running mode is given at t1, a tightening capacity command value tTc of the engine clutch rises from 0, the number of revolutions of the engine (the number of revolutions on an engine side of the engine clutch) Ne is increased by starting tightening of the engine clutch, and a fuel injection command Fc is given at t2 when the number of revolutions of the engine Ne becomes the number of revolutions of ignition Neo to increase engine torque Te, thereby completing tightening of the engine clutch at t4. In this engine start control, it is determined that the engine is started at t3 when the number of revolutions of the engine (the number of revolutions on the engine side of the engine clutch 9) Ne becomes set number of revolutions Ns higher than the number of revolutions on a transmission side Nr of the engine clutch.
