Abstract:
To adjust a wall temperature of a combustion chamber with high responsiveness in accordance with a load of an engine.SOLUTION: An engine system 1 includes an engine 10, a circulation device 91 for circulating cooling water to a water jacket 20, and a controller (ECU 100). The circulation device includes a radiator flow passage 53 including a heat exchanger (radiator 27), a bypass flow passage 51, a flow control device (cooling water control valve 4), and a thermostat valve 28. The controller controls the flow control device so that a flow rate of the cooling water flowing in the water jacket is adjusted in accordance with a load of the engine by closing the radiator flow passage and adjusting a flow rate of the cooling water flowing through the bypass flow passage when the load is lower than a first load, and controls the flow control device so that the cooling water flows in the radiator flow passage and the bypass flow passage when the load is equal to or higher than the first load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
