Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in temperature of intake air in an intake port, and to achieve smooth fuel vaporization in the intake port.SOLUTION: An engine 1 includes an intake port 3 and an exhaust port 4 connected to a combustion chamber 2 of the engine 1, a fuel injection valve 10 disposed in the intake port 3 and injecting fuel, and a partition wall 11 partitioning an inside of the intake port 3 into an upper port 16 and a lower port 13. A heat insulating material 12 is arranged on an inner surface of the upper port 16, and the fuel injection valve 10 is disposed in the lower port 13. A flow regulating valve A is provided on the upstream side in an intake flow direction of the fuel injection valve 10 in the lower port 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
