Abstract:
To provide an engine which can increase a ratio of an oil pan to an entire part.SOLUTION: An engine 31 includes: a crank case 33 which is divided into upper and lower bodies at a divided surface 47 defined on a horizontal surface Dp; an oil pan 51 which is coupled to the crank case 33 from below on a mating surface 49 defined in a virtual flat surface (Mp) intersecting with the horizontal surface Dp of the crank case 33 at a predetermined inclined angle and stores oil; and an inspection window 52 which has a transparent partition 52a assembled into a wall body of the oil pan 51 and visually presents an oil surface of the oil in the oil pan 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
