PURPOSE: To enable a user to learn the fundamental relations between English characters and pronunciation by enabling the user to exactly recognize the Roman characters which are the basis of English learning while having a fun.

CONSTITUTION: This appliance is constituted of a keyboard section 1, a voice generating section 2 and a display section 3. The keyboard section is disposed with consonant keys and vowel keys in such a manner that the English vowels are respectively arranged in order of a, i, u, e, o and English consonants in order of k, s, t, n,.... Further, execution keys to form the Roman characters by combining the consonant keys and the vowel keys are disposed. The voice generating section and the display section are provided with a voice generating means and screen output means which display, by voices and characters, the consonants of the touched consonant keys, the vowels of the touched vowel keys and the Roman characters combined by the key touch of the execution keys.
