Abstract:
To provide a device management system configured to implement off-line authentication with a simpler configuration, a management apparatus, a communication device, a device management method, and a program.SOLUTION: A device management system includes one or more managed devices which authenticate log-in requests for the devices, and a management apparatus which can communicate with the managed devices. The management apparatus includes an authentication information providing unit which generates and provides an authentication information group including multiple pieces of authentication information necessary for authenticating the log-in requests, for each of the managed devices. The managed device includes an authentication unit which shifts the device into a state in accordance with the log-in request on the basis of the authentication information group provided from the management apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
