Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a movement amount of a printing object medium with high accuracy while suppressing a load of pattern matching processing.SOLUTION: A device which includes imaging means of imaging the surface of a printing object medium that is being conveyed in plural times at prescribed timings and detects the movement amount of a printing medium by using the plurality of images obtained by imaging includes: first means which defines one of the plurality of images as a reference image, decides a partial image of the reference image as a template image, performs the first template matching processing to an image different from the reference image of the plurality of images and decides the target image corresponding to the template image in the different image; and second means which performs the second template matching processing of deciding the target image with the lower efficiency of deciding the target image than that of the first template matching processing and higher accuracy than that of the first template matching processing by using the template image to the different image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
