PURPOSE: To use equipment as a winterizing tool for protecting the body of a passenger by disposing a winding shaft in front of a seat in a motor vehicle, and winding a cover round the winding shaft to be suitable drawn out.

CONSTITUTION: A winding shaft 1 is disposed in front of a front passenger's seat or the like, for example, in the interior of a dash board 7 or the like in a motor vehicle. A designated cover 2 is taken up round the winding shaft 1 in such a manner as to be drawable. A guide member 3 for the cover 2 is disposed on the outer periphery of the winding shaft 1. Further, an opening 4 through which the cover 2 is passed is formed in one end of the guide member 3. The guide member 3 is formed like a tapered hopper which gradually expands the cover 2 drawn from the winding shaft 1 to be developed and gradually folds the cover 2 taken up round the winding shaft 1. Thus, the cover 2 is drawn out from the winding shaft to be developed when required to be used as a winterizing tool or the like for protecting the body of a passenger 5.
