Abstract:
To provide an escalator that does not give any uneasiness to a passenger on a wheel chair even in the escalator installed in a dark place.
The escalator having steps for wheel chairs has a plurality of steps that rotate and travel, where a plurality of steps 11a, 11b, 11c in the steps are arranged side by side horizontally in a wheel chair mode for mounting the wheel chair. The escalator has attention lamps 12a, 12b, 12c (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) on the upper surface of the steps being arranged side by side horizontally in the wheel chair mode.
