Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an escalator that can maintain appropriately a slope and an installation space while improving a transportation efficiency per unit time.SOLUTION: The escalator has a plurality of footsteps (10) arranged in a staircase pattern along a predetermined slope. All footsteps (10) include step boards (12) on which passengers step, and where length dimensions (L) of the step boards (12) along a running direction of the footsteps (10) are set to 460 mm or more and 615 mm or less, and riser dimensions (H) of the footsteps (10) are set to 230 mm or more and 240 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
