Abstract:
To provide an esterified product of dextrin and a method for producing the same, wherein it has physical properties applicable to industrial fields.
The esterified product of dextrin has an esterification rate of a hydroxy group of 60-95 mol% and a number average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene of 1,000-10,000, and is produced by a step of refluxing a mixture comprising an acetic acid solvent, dextrin, an acid anhydride and a catalyst.
