Abstract:
To provide a new method for accurately estimating a desulfurization rate and a denitrification rate in a refining reaction of heavy oil.SOLUTION: A method for estimating at least one of purification efficiency selected from a desulfurization rate and a denitrification rate in a refining reaction of heavy oil by a computer includes the steps of: (1) performing estimation based on a correction formula with a frequency factor of one or more kinds of structural factors contained in the heavy oil, two or more kinds of structural attribute parameters selected from an average total number of rings, an average number of carbon atoms of side chains, and an average degree of aggregation being variables; (2) estimating a molecular composition of generated oil obtained from the heavy oil based on the purification reaction model using the frequency factor obtained in step (1); and (3) estimating the purification efficiency based on the molecular composition of the heavy oil and the molecular composition of the generated oil. The one or more kinds of the structural factor is one or more kinds of single core molecules containing one sulfur atom or nitrogen atom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
