To provide a new technology for estimating more easily a bacterial index for resident skin bacteria.SOLUTION: An estimation system for estimating a bacterial index for resident skin bacteria of a subject includes image acquisition means for acquiring a skin image of the subject, and estimation means for estimating the bacterial index, from a measurement result of the bacterial index measured from the skin, and from the skin image of the subject, by using a model formed by using multiple sets of the skin images of the same person as the skin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
