Abstract:
To provide an ethylene homopolymer having an excellent balance among heat resistance, heat sealing temp. and moldability, and to provide a molded article made from molding it.
An ethylene homopolymer has the number of butyl branches of 1-20 per 100 methyl groups, which is measured by 13C-NMR, and a density d (kg/m3) of 880-980, and moreover satisfies such relations between the density d and the melting temp. Tm (°C) as are undermentioned in (1) to (3). (1): Tm≥1.2×d-982. (980≥d≥925). (2): Tm≥0.6×d-430. (925>d≥915). (3): Tm≥0.16×d-28.4. (915>d≥880). And a molded article is made from molding it.
