Abstract:

To obtain an evaluation method in which at least one out of an air flow ratio, a flow line, a gas flow-velocity distribution, a pressure distribution and a smoke density distribution can be created by a method wherein a gas flow velocity, a pressure and a smoke density are computed so as to be solved.

At Step S1, a model shape, a control equation, a supposition and a boundary condition are set respectively in an input part. At S2, a cut length regarding a first puff is set. At S3, a proper mouthpiece pressure is set in the input part as an initial condition, and it is stored in a storage part. Then, at S4 a steady computing operation is performed in an analytical part by a finite element method according to the model shape, the supposition and the boundary condition which are stored. At S5, the analytical part computes a gas outflow amount in a mouthpiece on the basis of the solution vector of a final gas flow velocity, a final pressure and the like which are stored. At S6, whether the outflow amount is at a prescribed condition or not is judged. Then, at S7, a mouthpiece pressure is readjusted according to the relationship between the outflow amount and a condition value. At S8, the analytical part retreats a final analyzed result to a prescribed region. At S9, whether everything is processed or not is judged, and the analyzed result is output at S10.
