To provide an evaporation/absorption unit having both functions as an evaporator and as an absorber providing size and cost reduction, by plurally laminating plates provided with evaporator parts having the functions as evaporators and absorber parts having the functions as absorbers.

The plates 1, 1, etc. formed by horizontally arranging the evaporator parts 2 supplied with a coolant Rw condensed and liquefied in a condenser, and the absorber parts 3 supplied with an absorbent solution Lc made into a supercooled state beforehand by an air-cooled heat exchanger, are plurally laminated in a vertical direction, and it is composed such that coolant vapor evaporated by the evaporator parts 2 is absorbed into the absorbent solution Lc in the absorber parts 3. By this, the evaporator part 2 having a function as an evaporator and the absorber part 3 having the function of an absorber can be formed in one plate 1, and size and cost reduction is made possible.
