Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the identification, exchange and assembly of a defective plate-type heat exchanger by providing a head cover in an attachable/detachable to/from each pressure reducing body in an air-tight condition at the piercing position of upper and lower pipes outside the pressure reducing body where the upper and lower pipes are pierced in an air-tight condition.
SOLUTION: Upper and lower pipes 40, 42 piercing a side plate 45 of a pressure reducing body are provided at vertically deviated positions to closely arrange plate-type heat exchangers 25. The solution to be cooled or the cooling water entering the plate-type heat exchangers 25 from the lower pipe 42 exchanges the heat with the film-like refrigerant or absorbing liquid flowing outside while rising between two plates. A lower header 50 comprises a header cover 51 and the side plate 45 provided outside the pressure reducing body at the position where the lower pipe 42 pierces the side plate 45. The header cover 51 can be mounted air-tight by screwing a bolt 52 into a bolt hole provided in the side plate 45 using the packing. An upper header 53 has a similar constitution to the lower header 50.
