Abstract:

To provide a specially-shaped excavation blade capable of excavating even hard ground.

An excavation bit 1 is attached along a side edge 2a of a widened blade part 22 which serves as an edge on the side coming into the first contact with ground of a sediment intake port 23 of a bottom enlarged bucket 2 for use in ground excavation. The excavation bit includes an edge face part 11 and an orthogonal edge part 12 which is integrated with the edge face part in such a manner as to be almost orthogonal to the edge face part. In this case, the orthogonal edge part is provided on a lateral surface on the side coming into the first contact with the ground of the edge face part. In addition, suitably, the orthogonal edge part is provided almost in the width-direction center of the edge face part.
