To provide an excavator which forms a drilling hole parallel to a press-fit of a casing at a site with an overhead clearance limit.
A base end part of a boom 3 is pivotally supported on a base machine 2 constituting an excavator 1. An upper end of a frame 4 is pivotally supported on the tip of the boom 3. A swivel head 6 ascending/descending along the frame 4 is a driving source of a rotary excavation device 7. A frame jack 5 attached to the upper part of the boom 3 and the upper part of the frame 4 tilts/erects upright the frame 4 by its expansion and contraction. An auxiliary crane 8 constituting the excavator 1 can lift a casing 10 in a state that the frame 4 is inserted to the inner side. A casing press-fit device 9 holds the casing 10 descended from the auxiliary crane 8 from the external side, and presses and inserts it into soil while rotating. The rotary excavation device 7 rotationally excavates the soil in a vertical direction while passing through the inside of the casing 10 held by the casing press-fit device 9. The rotary excavation device 7 includes a stabilizer 71.
