Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an efficient disposal or the excess sludge due to its increase, indispensably produced from a jet grout method having various excellent merits in soil improvement works and an effective use of active cement being contained therein.
CONSTITUTION: The undersize slurry obtained from a vibrating screen 22 of a primary separator for excess slime 11 produced is dissolved in a coagulant solution and then dispersed and mixed and further, granulated. The flock is treated by a dewatering device 36 as a secondary separator to separate it from water. The water 40 is used immediately for the next stage of jet grout and the specific gravity and water content of the sludge are measured by measuring devices 49 for the jet grout and the shortage is replenished from a cement tank 50 to make an effective use thereof. The sludge which is not reused, is mixed with a specified solidifier by a paddle mixer 46 in a waste pit 45 and transferred to the following disposal site by a dumptruck 15.
