To provide an excretion supporting device that allows a user to recognize as being in a space suitable for excretion by showing the user an image of an excretion space and supports user's excretion.SOLUTION: An excretion supporting device 10 includes a display 12, an image acquisition part 13 and an image display part 14. The display 12 can show a user an image. The image acquisition part 13 acquires a virtual space image. The virtual space image includes a relaxing image and an excretion space image. The relaxing image is an image of a scene with which the user can relax. The excretion space image is an image of an excretion space for the user to virtually perform excretion.
