To provide an exhaust system for effectively utilizing condensate in exhaust and dramatically improving a reduction effect of noise caused by the exhaust.
The exhaust system is used for a fuel-cell vehicle equipped with a fuel-cell stack as a power source. The exhaust system has: exhaust tubes in which the exhaust made from vapor generated in the fuel-cell stack flow; a muffler 6 connected to the exhaust tube to reduce the noise caused by the exhaust; and a noise absorbing chamber filled with noise absorbing material disposed in the muffler 6 to absorb the noise. The exhaust system discharges the exhaust into the air. A water level adjusting hole 10 is disposed in an end plate 6a which forms the noise absorbing chamber 11 in the muffler 6 so as to store a predetermined amount of the condensate contained in the exhaust in the noise absorbing chamber 11.
