To provide an exhaust flow control device of an exhaust muffler in which valve closing force to the valve plate of a valve spring is reduced or almost does not change according to the increase of opening of the valve plate.
The exhaust flow control valve 20 is constituted of the valve plate 21 turning between the fully closed position C for closing the short-cut hole 17 and the fully opened position O for opening the short-cut hole 17 in the inside of the downstream side exhaust pipe 11 and hingedly connected to the downstream side exhaust pipe 11 so as to direct the front end to the downstream side of the downstream side exhaust pipe 11 in the fully opened position O, the spring receiving member 25 arranged in the downstream side exhaust pipe 11 so as to intersect the short-cut hole 17, and the valve spring 22 of which one end is secured to the front end of the valve plate 21 located at the downstream side of the downstream side exhaust pipe 11 from the spring receiving member 25, of which the other end is slidably brought into pressure contact with the spring receiving member 25, and which biases the valve plate 21 to the fully opened position C side by the repelling force of the same.
