Abstract:
To ensure earthquake resisting performance without changing the whole appearance including a rebuilt part and the interior of a preserved part in the case of preserving a part of an existing building as it is and rebuilding the other part.
In the case of preserving a part of an existing building such as a historical building and rebuilding the other part, a rebuilt part B is integrated with a preserved part A, and the whole of them is supported in a base isolated state by base isolators C, or an underground structure D integrating the rebuilt part B and preserved part A to support the whole of them is newly installed to support the whole of them in the base isolated state.
