Abstract:
To provide a simply constructed hydraulic locking device for an exoskeleton joint, which takes up little installation space, is protected against damage, minimizes impairment of a user, and is reduced in weight.SOLUTION: A hydraulic cylinder 12 is connected to a tank 16 via a line arrangement 14, and a switching valve is disposed in the line arrangement 14. The hydraulic cylinder 12 is freely movable in a release position FS of the switching valve, and the switching valve prevents retraction of the hydraulic cylinder 12 in a blocking position SS. A hydraulic locking device 10 comprises a housing 18. The hydraulic cylinder is a plunger cylinder 12, and has a plunger cylinder housing 22 and a plunger piston 24 that is movably arranged in the plunger cylinder housing 22. The plunger cylinder 12 is arranged within the housing 18. Further, an exoskeleton joint having such a hydraulic locking device 10 is disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
